RECOMMENDED ACTION: Review update on General Liability,Automobile Liability,Public Officials Errors and Omissions Liability,Fire and Extended Coverage,All-Risk Personal Property and Money&Securities Surety Bond insurance carried by the Housing Authority of the County of Contra Costa. II. FINANCIAL IMPACT: None at this time. III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION/BACKGROUND General Liability insurance for the Housing Authority of the County of Contra Costa is through the California Housing Authority Risk Management Agency(CHARMA). The Housing Authority has a$1,000,000 per occurrence policy with a$25,000 deductible per occurrence. Additionally,the Housing Authority carries Excess Insurance from$500,000 to$5,500,000 through Housing Authorities Risk Retention Group(HARRG). During the 1994/95 Fiscal Year one loss, amounting to$4,352.12 was paid. Automobile Liability insurance for the Housing Authority of the County of Contra Costa is carried through Northbrook National Insurance Company. Additionally,the Housing Authority carries Excess Insurance from$500,000 to$1,500,000 through Northbrook. During the 1994/95 Fiscal Year no losses were paid out. Public Officials Errors and Omissions Liability is carried through California Housing Authority Risk Management Agency, with excess insurance through Housing Authorities Risk Retention Group(HARRG). During the 1994/95 Fiscal Year no losses occurred. Fire and Extended Coverage insurance for the Housing Authority of the County of Contra Costa is through CHARMA and the Housing Authorities Property Insurance(HAPI),a division of Housing Authorities Insurance(HAI). The Housing Authority has a $100,000 annual aggregate stop loss with a$20,000 deductible per occurrence. Excess Insurance from $1,000,000 to$61,589,000 is through Travelers Insurance Company. During Fiscal Year 1994/95 one loss, amounting to$16,281.25,was paid. Fire and Extended Coverage for the Central Office building of the Housing Authority is through Christiania General Insurance Group. During Fiscal Year 1994/95 no losses were experienced. i The All-Risk Personal Property Coverage for the Housing Authority,with limits of insurance at$897,975, is carried through Christiania General Insurance Corporation. During 1994/95 no losses were experienced. The Money& Securities Security Bond for the Housing Authority,with limits of$250,000 and a deductible of$1,000 per occurrence, is carried through the Hartford Insurance Company.
