The Committee consists of nine members, one appointed by each member of the Board of Supervisors and four at-large members nominated by the Internal Operations Committee. Each Board member has now made his or her appointment. There are 46 remaining applications for the 4 at-large seats on the Commission. The Board order creating the Commission specified that the Internal Operations Committee was to nominate individuals for these four at-large seats . Our Committee reviewed the 46 applications and received additional recommendations regarding whom we should recommend for appointment. We have agreed to recommend the appointment of these four individuals from a large group of obviously knowledgeable and dedicated individuals . It is our hope that the remaining individuals can form a pool of individuals who can be called on to fill future vacancies on the Commission and who can also participate in the work of the Commission. cc: County Administrator Ms .
