SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION RECOMIIl W-NDATIONS: Approve and authorize, the Chair, Board of Supervisors, to execute a contract amendment with D'Andre Wells to increase the contract payment limit by $5,000 for additional administrative support duties. FINANCIAL IMPACT: The additional $5,000 has been provided by private foundation funding. No county funds are needed to support this contract. BACKGROUND/REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS: Previously, a contract was approved for the duties of a program manager to administer the operations of the North Richmond Municipal Advisory Council. The Council has determined that additional duties and responsibilities are required of the program manager and he should be compensated for any increases in his workload. Note to Contractor: (1) Sign above and have a Notary Public execute the acknowledgement form on page two and (2) as to your signatures, if a corporation, signature A. must be the president or vice-president; and signature B. must be the secretary or assistant secretary as required by Civil Code §1190 and Corporations Code §313. • 9 f �t T • __tea f AMENDMENT SPECIFICATIONS Work Plan for D'Andre Wells Deliverable: Post all of MAC agendas and Minutes in well publicized locations throughout the North Richmond community, in a timely manner, allowing ample time for citizen involvement in the MAC meetings. On a quarterly basis, schedule MAC town meetings that provide opportunities for the community to give their views on plans, recommendations and initiatives under consideration by the MAC. AMI7NDMENT: Will perform any and all duties deemed necessary by the North Richmond Municipal Advisory Council (MAC) to include the typing, printing,copying and transcribing meeting minutes of MAC meetings,hearings and/or seminars. These clerical duties will also be required for MAC presentations to the Board of Supervisors, City Council or other public agencies or organizations. The Consultant will also need to write public service announcements of MAC community action plan activities and make written reports as necessary to funding agencies. Consultant will submit individual invoices to the MAC for approval and forward documents to the County Administrator's office to be processed for pays lent. The amount of this contract is to be adjusted by $5,000 to a payment limit of $40,000.
