Re: Your letter of May 1 regarding the San Luis Drain
Dear Chair and Members of the Board of Supervisors:
United Anglers is the state's leading fishery conservation organization.
Like you we oppose completing this "fool's errand" since it would have
devastating consequences to the estuary's fishery resources, recreational
anglers and the citizens who use this precious public resource.
We are pleased to accept your offer to work with you to prevent the
resumed construction and completion of the San Luis Drain. Keep us
advised of your stragedy and actions in this regard. Please contact me at
your earliest convenience to discuss how we can best work together.
Sincereiy,
,John Beuttler,
Executive Director
