Subject: Sale of County Surplus Real Property

The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
On March 14, 1995, the Board adopted Resolution No. 95/101 which vacated a
portion of land adjacent to the east side of Goble Drive. This Board hereby DETERMINES
that said land, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, was previously subject to a street,
highway or public service easement, and is no longer needed by the public.
Pursuant to Streets and Highways Code Section 8355, and in consideration of
payment of$3,000 which has been paid in full, the Board hereby APPROVES the sale of
said property to Pacific Gas & Electric Company and AUTHORIZES the Chair to sign a
Quitclaim Deed on behalf of the County.
The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause said deed to be delivered to
grantee.

The Board REVIEWED and APPROVED the project on March 14, 1995, and
DETERMINED the project to be categorically exempt from the California Environmental
Quality Act under State CEQA Guidelines Section 15312. The filing fee was paid and a
Notice of Exemption was filed with the County Clerk. The project has been determined to
be exempt from 65402 review in accordance with the Board of Supervisor's Resolution
81/522 because the project involves a disposition of excess road right of way of a minor
nature.

FEE PARCEL
A parcel of land, situate in the County of Contra Costa, State of California,
and being a portion of the northwest quarter of Section 15, Township 2 North,
Range 1 West, Mount Diablo Meridian, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the found 3/4-'inch iron pin accepted as marking the
northeasterly terminus of the northwesterly boundary line of the 2.49 acre parcel of
land described in the deed from George W. Andrews and wife to Pacific Gas and
Electric Company dated April 7, 1956 and recorded in Book 2745 of Official
Records at page 533, Contra Costa County Records, said northwesterly boundary
line according to the description contained in said deed dated April 7, 1956 has a
bearing of south 38° 37' west and a length of 138.84 feet; thence, from the Point of
Beginning, along the northeasterly prolongation of said northwesterly boundary
line (N 38° 37W, record)
(1) north 39° 32' 06" east 9.20 feet;
thence leaving said northeasterly prolongation
(2) north 50° 27' 54" west 27.00 feet; thence
(3) north 05° 27' 54" west 15.72 feet
to a point in the southeasterly line of Willow Pass Road, said point being distant
along a radial bearing south 33° 47' 56" east 58.00 feet from Engineer's Station
31+18.64 on the "WP" line of the Department of Transportation's survey for
Willow Pass Road in Contra Costa County; Road 4-CC-16.8/20.1, as said "WP"
line is shown on sheet No. 24 of the Project Plans for Construction on State
Highway near Concord and Pittsburg, from Willow Pass Road undercrossing to
Bailey Road undercrossing; thence running along the southeasterly line of said
Willow Pass Road and along the easterly line-of Goble Drive
(4) southwesterly on a curve to the right with a radius of 858.00
feet , through a central angle of 2° 57' 28" and tangent at the
northeasterly terminus thereof to a line which has a bearing of
south 56° 12' 04" west, an arc distance of 44.29 feet; thence
(5) southwesterly on a curve to the left with a radius of 46.00 feet,
through a central angle of 64° 21' 27" and tangent at the
northeasterly terminus thereof to a line which has a bearing of
south 59° 09' 32" west, an are distance of 51.67 feet; thence
(6) southerly on a curve to the right with a radius of 130.00 feet,
through a central angle of 34° 52' 42" and tangent at the

5° 11' 55" east, an arc distance of 79.14 feet
to a point in the northwesterly prolongation of the southwesterly boundary line of
said 2.49 acre parcel of land; (2745 O.R. 533), said southwesterly boundary line
according to the description contained in said deed dated April 7, 1956 has a
bearing of south 51° 23' east and a length of 554.40 feet; thence running along said
northwesterly prolongation
(7) south 50° 27' 54" east 5.53 feet
to the most westerly corner of said 2.49 acre parcel of land; thence running along
the northwesterly boundary line of said 2.49 acre parcel of land
(8) north 39° 32' 06" east 138.84 feet, more or less,
to the point of beginning; containing 0.122 acre, more or less.
The bearings used in the foregoing description are based on the California
Coordinate System, Zone 3, (N.A.D. 1983). The distances used are ground
distances.
