Recommended Action: A. APPROVE Right of Way Contract and ACCEPT Grant Deed dated March 16, 1995 from Paul W. Lamborn Revocable Trust, et. al. B. AUTHORIZE Public Works Director to execute said Right of Way Contract on behalf of the County. C. APPROVE payment of$260,000.00 for said property rights and AUTHORIZE the Auditor- Controller to issue a check in said amount payable to Chicago Title Insurance Company, 500 Ygnacio Valley Road, Suite 200, Walnut Creek, CA., 94596, Escrow No. 75523 to be forwarded to the Real Property Division for delivery. D. Reasons for Recommendations and Backaround: These property rights are required for the Laurel Road Interchange project. This property serves a dual purpose in that it will be used to dispose of fill material excavated from the Lindsey Basin Flood Control project. IV. Consequences of Negative Action: The project will not have sufficient land rights to allow construction in accordance with the approved plans and specifications.
