HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 04041995 - 1.22 1 . 22 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on April 4 , 1995, by the following vote : AYES : Supervisors Rogers, Smith, DeSaulnier, Torlakson and Bishop NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None ----------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------- SUBJECT: Ordinance Introduced To Exclude The Class Of County Probation Officer from the Merit System The following ordinance which amend the Ordinance Code of Contra Costa County as indicated having been introduced, the Board by unanimous vote of the members present waives full reading thereof and fixes April 11, 1995 as the time for adoption of same : Section I : Section 33-5 . 345 of the County Ordinance Code is amended to exclude the class of County Probation Officer-exempt from the Merit System to read: 33-5 . 345 . The county probation officer-exempt is excluded, and is appointed by the Judge of the Juvenile Court (Ord. 95- 1 i,ereby certify that this is a true and correct copy of an action taken and entered on the minutes of the Board of Supe"i ors on the date shown. ATTESTED: PHIL BA HELOR,dierk of the Board of Supervisor and Coun Administrator 10 By .Deouty CC : County Counsel County Administrator Probation Department ORDINANCE NO. 95 - (County Probation Officer- Exempt) The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors ordains as follows (omitting the parenthetical footnotes from the official text of the enacted or amended provisions of the County Ordinance Code): SECTION I: Section 33-5.345 is added to the County Ordinance Code to exclude the class of county probation officer-exempt from the merit system to read: 33-5.5.345. The county probation officer-exempt is excluded and is appointed by the Judge of the Juvenile Court. (Ord. 95- , § l.) SECTION 11:EFFECTIVE DATE.This ordinance becomes effective 30 days after passage, and within 15 days of passage shall be published once with the names of the supervisors voting for and against it in the a newspaper published in this County.
