Ill. Reasons for Recommendations and Background:
In 1974, the developer of subdivisions adjacent to Oak Grove Road from Valley Vista to Walnut
Avenue made an offer of dedication on seven parcels designated as "Pine Creek" for use as a
storm drainage channel. In the interim, the City of Walnut Creek accepted the offer of dedication
on several of the parcels. The Flood Control District wishes to perfect its title to the seven subject
parcels. By the above-referenced Quitclaim Deed, the City of Walnut Creek conveys its interest
to the District.
IV. Consequences of Negative Action:
The District will not have clear title to the parcels in this area which constitute Pine Creek.
