Consultant Contract Amendment for Environmental Review
Services of ESA Inc. - WCCSL Soil Remediation Facility
April 25, 1995
Continued - Page Two
BACKGROUND/REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS (continued)
During the preparation of the Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration a change in
the project operators (from California Hydrocarbon Inc. to TPS Technologies Inc.)
occurred. This change in operators resulted in some changes to the proposed project.
Due to the changes in the project and other related delays, additional consultant work
was required and resulted in increased costs to develop the final Initial Study/Mitigated
Negative Declaration.
The project applicant has already deposited a check with the County to fund this
contract amendment.
