SUBJECT: Conveyance of Surplus Real Property
for the Richmond Parkway
San Pablo Creek Surplus
Project No. 4500-6X9004
Richmond Area
The Board of Supervisors, as the Governing Body of the Contra Costa County Flood
Control and Water Conservation District, Contra Costa County, RESOLVES THAT:
The District acquired certain real property for San Pablo Creek, as described in
Exhibit"A" attached hereto. Said property is DETERMINED to be surplus and no longer
necessary for District or other public purposes and its estimated value does not exceed
$10,000.00. The City of Richmond requires said property for the Richmond Parkway.
This Board hereby APPROVES and AUTHORIZES the conveyance of said property
interests to the City of Richmond, pursuant to Government Code Section 25526.5 and the
Board Chair is hereby AUTHORIZED to execute a Grant Deed on behalf of the County.
The Chief Engineer is hereby AUTHORIZED to sign the Right of Way Contract with the
City of Richmond on behalf of the District.
The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause said Grant Deed to be delivered
to the grantee.

Real property in Lot 201 of San Pablo Rancho filed March 1, 1894 in Contra Costa County,
California, being portions of PARCEL ONE described in the Final Order of Condemnation by
Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District (hereinafter referred to
as CCCFC & WCD) recorded June 5, 1990 in Volume 15902 of Official Records at page 1,
further described as follows:
Parcel X1258.1-1: Permanent Slope and Drainage Easement (Parcel 4A-417-1)
Beginning on the east line of CCCFC & WCD PARCEL ONE (15902 0.R. 1) at the southern
terminus of a curve concave to the southwest having a radius of 200.00 feet on the boundary
of Parcel 14A described in the deed to Contra Costa County recorded June 7, 1973 in Volume
6964 of Official Records at page 868; thence from the Point of Beginning along the boundary
common to PARCEL ONE and Parcel 14A, south 1018'49"west 9.79 feet, to a point hereinafter
referred to as POINT A; thence leaving said common boundary, north 79024'50"west 49.65
feet; thence north 1°18'49"east 72.00 feet; thence north 88°41'11"west 5.00 feet; thence north
1'18'49" east 66.48 feet to a point of cusp with said common boundary, hereinafter referred
to as POINT B, on the are of said curve having a radius of 200.00 feet, a radial to POINT B

document; thence along said south line, south 82°03'25" east 4.81 feet and south 8022'11"
east 115.07 feet, to the most eastern corner of Parcel X1258.1-2 on the boundary common to
