Major government agencies such as Social Service, Health Services, Housing Authority and Social Security participate regularly. The Committee, therefore, has felt the urgent need to staff support. It is my understanding that the Board had planned to provide such support to HAC right from the time of its inception. Because this support is now critical for HAC's functioning, the committee would appreciate early action by the board on this issue. Sincerely, Dr. Ashok S. Patwardhan Chair
