RECOMMENDATIONS
ADOPT position in support of SB 732. (Bergeson) , and AUTHORIZE the
Deputy Director - Redevelopment to send letters to California
legislative delegation.

None .
BACKGROUND/REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS
In 1993 the Legislature adopted and the Governor signed AB 1290
(Isenberg) - comprehensive redevelopment reform legislation. SB 732
will resolve several ambiguities in the law, particularly as it
relates to the Implementation Plan requirement. A summary of the
provisions of AB 1290 is provided for your information.
