NO. 93-44 BACKGROUND/REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION: On June 2, 1987 the Board of Supervisors authorized the County Administrator to develop a plan to . fund additional Police services in the unincorporated areas of Contra Costa County. According to the ordinances, each July the Board of Supervisors shall determine the amount of taxes to be levied upon the parcels in each zone . That amount is, also according to the ordinances, to be adjusted annually based upon a consumer price index. The above action fixes the tax rate per parcel in the P-6 zones as outlined in their respective ordinances .
