HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 05031994 - 1.7 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Resolution on May 3, 1994 , by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Smith, Bishop, DeSaulnier, Torlakson and Powers NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None RESOLUTION NO. 94/ 252 Government Code § 25526.6 SUBJECT: Conveyance of Easement to City of Richmond Richmond Parkway Project North Richmond Area The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: Contra Costa County acquired certain real property for street and highway purposes. The City of Richmond has requested an easement over a portion of said property, described in Exhibit "A"attached hereto, for street and highway purposes. This Board FINDS that the conveyance of such easement is in the public interest and will not substantially conflict or interfere with the County's use of the property. This Board hereby APPROVES and AUTHORIZES the conveyance of an easement to the City of Richmond, over the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto,, pursuant to Government Code Section 25526.6 and the Board Chair is hereby AUTHORIZED to execute an Easement Deed on behalf of the County. The Public Works Director is hereby AUTHORIZED to sign a Right of Way Contract with the City of Richmond for this transaction. The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause said Easement Deed and Right of Way Contract to be delivered to the grantee. The City Council of the City of Richmond, as lead agency for the Richmond Parkway project (in both the City of Richmond and County unincorporated area) approved the project Environmental Impact Report on March 8, 1991, and filed a Notice of Determination with the County Clerk on March 20, 1991.
