Box 271131 Concord, CA 94527 Inon profltl May 161 1994 Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors Tom Powers, Chairman 651 Pine Street ' Martinez, CA 94553 Dear Chairman Powers, As you know there is a lot of confusion regarding the mysterious Blue Ribbon Committee on Mobilehomes. Its origin and authorization are as yet unknown to all parties concerned. The CoCoMOA board of directors met Saturday and discussed that Committee and has unanimously decided that mobilehome rent stabilization is at this time properly within the purview of the Internal operations Committee of the Board of Supervisors. Further discussion made clear that the I O Committee is the 2= committee other than the Board themselves that can move this issue forward. The establishment of yet another new committee, born in confusion, is merely a unnecessary rehash of the last fifteen Iyears of diversionary tactics. We respectfully request that the 1 O committee be given the task of reviewing the ordinance as presented to the County Counsel and the Community Development Department and submitting to the Board what they consider an acceptable ordinance for Public Hearing on May 31, 1994. sincerely, fo YX mlin, President Contra Costa Mobilehowners Association (510) 825-3921 (Phone/FAX) RECEIVED MAY 1 6W4 CLERK CBONTRA-OF OSTA CO.SUPERVISORS
