I certify that the foregoing is a true and complete copy of a resolution duly and regularly adopted by the Board of Directors of Diablo Water District at a meeting thereof held on February 24, 1994, by the following vote: AYES; Directors Allen, Brandt, Crockett, Celoni, and Hobbs NOES; None ABSENT; None Dated: February 24, 1994 Mike Yeraka, Secretary EXHIBIT A APPENDIX to the Conflict of Interest Code for the Diablo Water District Designated Positions Disclosure Categories Each Director and All sources of income, interests in candidate for office of real property and investments and Director business positions in business entities. General Manager Attorney Administrative Assistant Investments,and business positions in business entities and sources of Accounting Office income which provide services, Manager supplies, materials, machinery or equipment of the type used by Superintendent of the District. Operations Consultants The General Manager may determine in writing that a particular consultant, although a "designated position", is hired to perform a range of duties that is limited in scope and thus is not required to fully comply with the disclosure requirements described in this section. Such written determination shall include a description of the consultant's duties and, based upon that description, a statement of the extent of disclosure requirements.. The General Manager' s determination is a public record and shall be retained for public inspection in the same manner and location as this conflict of interest code. Adopted by B/D OWD 12/22/76 Approved by B/S CCC 1/25/77 Amended by B/S CCC 1/6/81 Amended by B/D DWD 2/24/94 REGULATION NO. 102 CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE OF DIABLO WATER DISTRICT The Political Reform Act, Government Code Section 81000, et seq. , requires state and local government agencies to adopt and promulgate conflict of interest codes. The Fair Political Practices Commission has adopted a regulation, 2 California Code of Regulations Section 18730, which contains the terms of a standard conflict of interest code. It can be incorporated by reference and may be amended by the Fair Political Practices Commission after public notice and hearings to conform to amendments in the Political Reform Act. Therefore, the terms of 2 California Code of Regulations Sections 18730, and any amendments to it duly adopted by the Fair Political Practices Commission are hereby incorporated by reference and, along with the attached Appendix in which Directors, employees and consultants are designated and disclosure categories are set, forth, constitute the Conflict of interest Code of Diablo Water District. This Conflict of Interest Code of Diablo Water District adopted on December 22, 1976, approved by the Board of Supervisors of 'Contra Costa County of January 25, 1977 and thereafter amended. Pursuant to section 4 of the standard code, designated employees shall file statements of economic interests with the District. Upon receipt of the statements of its Directors and General Manager, the District shall make and retain a copy and forward the original of these statements to the Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa. Statements for all other designated employees will be retained by the District. t .
