HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 04191994 - 1.17 CONTRA COSTA COUNTY 1, 117 BOARD OF SUPERVISORS Adopted this Resolution on April I T, 1994, by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Smith, DeSaulnier, Torlakson and Bishop NOES: None ABSENT: Supervisor Powers RESOLUTION NO. 94/ 207 SUBJECT: Grant Permission to Completely Close a Portion of Parr Boulevard at the Standard Pacific Railroad Tracks in the North Richmond area, for the purpose of construction work. The Public Works Director has reported that prior approval has been granted to the City of Richmond to completely close Parr Boulevard from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM at the Standard Pacific Railroad tracks on March 17, 18, 23 and 24, 1994. The road closure is needed because the existing railroad tracks will be raised to accommodate the future grade elevation of Parr Boulevard after it is overlaid and widened as part of the Richmond Parkway Project. In addition, the warning devices and gutter at the crossing will be upgraded. The road closure is subject to the following conditions: 1. Traffic will be detoured via Third Street to Brookside Drive during the hours of closure. 2. All signing to be in accordance with the State of California Manual of Traffic Controls, Standard Plans and Specifications. 3. The City of Richmond is acting as the lead agency for the Richmond Parkway project per the Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement between the County and the City executed on June 25, 1991.
