SUBJECT: LEASE AMENDMENT - 20 ALLEN STREET, MARTINEZ
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. RECOMMENDATION
APPROVE a Lease Amendment commencing April 19, 1994, with The
Maguire Family Trust, Raymond Leal, Anna Marie Leal, and
William L. Rich, for the premises at 20 Allen Street,
Martinez, under the terms and conditions more particularly set
forth in said Lease Amendment, and AUTHORIZE the Director of
General Services to EXECUTE said Lease Amendment on behalf of
the County.
II. FINANCIAL IMPACT
None.
III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS/BACKGROUND
The Lease Amendment adds an Option to Purchase and a six-month
term extension to the existing Lease as requested by the
Health Services Department.

SUBJECT: Agenda: Lease Amendment - 20 Allen Street, Martinez

A lease amendment has been negotiated with the owners to add an
Option to Purchase and a six-month term extension to the existing
Lease. Should the Option to Purchase be exercised, the County
will own the property for approximately the same cost it
incurs leasing the property. If this Lease Amendment is not
approved, the Lease will expire April 30, 1994 .
