Dear Chairman Powers-. .
The North Richmond Municipal Advisory Council (MAC) respectfully
suggest that the following action, which pertains to Joseph
McCoy, be adopted, and'/or approved by the Contra Costa County
Board of Supervisors.
After much thought and careful consideration, the North Richmond
MAC recommends that Joseph McCoy hold one of the three appointed
seats originally reserved for business interest. If approved ,
the MAC would still have three (3) appointed seats.-two (2)
business appointments and one ' (1) youth appointment which would
be Mr. McCoy's. Our eight (8) elected =eats would remain
unchanged and we would fill the vacant seat left by the departure
of Mr. McCoy as soon as possible. .
The MAC would also amend its by-laws to reflect this
organizational change. We are currently reviewing our by-haws
and would like the Board of Supervisors decision . so that we may
act accordingly.
The MAC sincerely appreciates your patience and we are looking
forward to receiving notification of your decision.
Sincerely,
Henry. Clark
President
