RECOMMENDED ACTION: APPROVE project and DETERMINE that the project is a California Environmental Quality Act Class 2c Categorical Exemption and DIRECT the Public Works Director to prepare contract plans and specifications. DIRECT the Director of Community Development to file a Notice of Exemption with the County Clerk. DIRECT the Public Works Director to arrange for payment of the $25.00 handling fee to the County Clerk for filing of the Notice of Exemption. If. FINANCIAL IMPACT: The estimated contract cost of the project is$50,000, funded by Park Dedication Fee Trust Fund $40,000 (80%) and 1979-3 LL-2 Zone 37, $10,000 (20%). III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION/BACKGROUND: The project includes reconstruction of existing facilities at Clyde Park, and installation of drought resistant trees and shrubs, site furnishings, a pedestrian pathway and sidewalk, and appurtenant features.
