HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 02081994 - 1.12 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on February 8, 1994 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Smith, Bishop, McPeak, Torlakson and Powers NOES: None ABSENT: N6ne ABSTAIN: None SUBJECT: Authorizing the Public Works Director to Arrange for the Recovery of County Costs for Subdivision MS 184-77, Alamo Area. The Board on January 16, 1979, approved a Deferred Improvement Agreement with Alamo Lodge#122,for constructing certain improvements in Subdivision MS 184-77,Alamo area. The Public Works Director reports that the property owner (Murray Kelsoe) has failed to satisfactorily compensate the County for work performed by the County as required by said agreement. The value of this work is estimated to be $8,429.00. The Public Works Director recommends that he be authorized to request County Counsel to initiate appropriate action, including the filing of a Foreclosure of a Lien, to recover the County's costs including the cost to recover the value of the work. IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that permission is granted to Ranger Pipelines Incorporated to completely close a portion of Marsh Drive except for emergency traffic for the period of March 1, 1994 through September 1, 1994, for the purpose of installing Pleasant Hill Interceptor Sewer Relief project subject to the conditions below. Ranger Pipelines is conducting this work under a contract with Central Contra Costa Sanitary District. 1. Traffic will be detoured via neighborhood streets per plan approved by Public Works Traffic Division, thereby allowing access to all properties at all times. 2. All signing to be in accordance with the State of California Manual of Traffic Controls. 3. Ranger Pipeline, Incorporated, shall comply with the requirements of the Ordinance Code of Contra Costa County. 4. Have on file with the County a Certificate of Insurance in the amount of$500,000 for Comprehensive General Public Liability which names the County as an additional insured.
