SUBJECT. Conveyance of Surplus Real Property
Portion of Bollinger Canyon Road
Project No. 0676-6Q1747
Danville Area
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
Contra Costa County acquired certain real property for Bollinger Canyon
Road in the Danville area as described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
This Board on February 23, 1993, adopted Resolution No. 93/67 vacating
said portion of Bollinger Canyon Road. The Resolution was recorded March 11 ,
1993, in Book 18341 , Official Records, Page 268.
This Board hereby DETERMINES that said vacated road right of way is no
longer needed by the public for public road purposes.
Pursuant to Streets& Highways Code Section 8355, it is hereby DETERMINED
that the vacated road right of way should be conveyed to the adjacent owner, the
East Bay Regional Park District, and the Board Chair is hereby AUTHORIZED to
execute a Quitclaim Deed to the District on behalf of the County. The vacated
street right of way is being donated to the Park District for inclusion in the Las
Trampas Regional Wilderness Area.
The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause said Quitclaim Deed to be
delivered to the grantee.
