The Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa resolves: 1. The Board declares its intention to levy and collect annual assessments within County Landscaping and Lighting District AD 1979-3 (LL-2) for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1993 and ending June 30, 1994. The lots and parcels to be assessed are generally located in the unincorporated areas of Contra Costa County in the following zones: Zones 1, 2 and 4 (Lynbrook Subdivisions); Zone 3 (Hickory Meadows Subdivision); Zones 8 and 15 (Vintage Subdivisions); Zone 9 (West Pittsburg area); Zone 10 (Viewpointe Subdivision); Zone 11 (Hilltop Commons); Zone 13 (Oakley Ranch Subdivision);Zone 14 (Empire Subdivision); Zone 16 (Oakley area); Zone 17 (Shadow Creek Subdivision); Zone 18 (Pacheco Manor Subdivision); Zone 19 (Hidden Pond Subdivision); Zone 20 (Oakley Town Center Subdivision); Zone 21 (Kensington area); Zone 22 (Seabreeze Subdivision); Zone 23 (Oakgrove Subdivision); Zone 24 (Laurel Woods Subdivision); Zone 25 (Orchard View Subdivisions); Zone 26 (South Forty Subdivision); Zone 27 (Bettencourt Ranch Subdivisions); Zone 28 (Claremont Subdivision); Zone 32 (Gateway Subdivisions); Zone 33 (Village Green Subdivision); Zone 36 (Alamo area); Zone 37 (Clyde area);Zone 38 (Rodeo area); and Zone 39 (Meadow Glen Subdivision). .2. At 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, August 3, 1993, in the Board chambers, located in the County Administration Building, 651 Pine Street, Martinez, California, the Board will conduct a public hearing on the levy of the proposed assessments. Any interested person may, prior to the conclusion of the hearing, file a written protest with the Clerk of the Board at the address listed above. A written protest shall state all grounds of objection. A protest by a property owner shall contain a description sufficient to identify the property owned by him. The assessments are proposed to be levied for the installation,planting,construction,maintenance and servicing of certain improvements,which are generally described as follows: landscaping, irrigation,lighting, park and recreational facilities, together with all appurtenant facilities and incidental expenses. 4. In accordance with the Board's resolution ordering the preparation and filing of an annual report, the Public Works Director, Engineer of Work, has filed with the Clerk of the Board the report required by the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972, and the Board hereby approves the report as filed. The report contains a full and detailed description of the improvements, the boundaries of the assessment district and the zones therein, and the proposed assessments upon assessable lots and parcels of land within the district. The report is available for public inspection at the office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, located at 651 Pine Street, Room 106, Martinez, California. 5. This resolution is adopted pursuant to Sections 22623 and 22624 of the Streets and Highways Code. 6. The Board will consider all oral statements and all written protests or communications made or filed by any interested persons.
