AUTHORIZE the Homeless Advisory Committee to interview all candidates for vacancies on the Homeless Advisory Committee and forward to the Internal Operations Committee on July 26, 1993, copies of all applications considered, along with the Advisory Committee' s comments and recommendations for appointments to the vacancies on the Advisory Committee, including an indication of which category each nominee might most appropriately fill . BACKGROUND: Several resignations from the Homeless Advisory Committee have been accepted by the Board of Supervisors in the last few weeks . The Homeless Advisory Committee has received several applications for seats on the Homeless Advisory Committee. We would like the Homeless Advisory Committee to interview these and any other candidates whose applications they receive and provide our Committee with their comments and recommendations for which applicants should be appointed to which seats and for which category or categories each applicant should be considered.
