HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 05111993 - 1.7 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on May 11, 1993 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Powers, Smith, Bishop, McPeak and Torlakson NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None RESOLUTION NO. 93/228 SUBJECT: Exonerate Road Improvement Agreement for Trail Improvements along the Contra Costa Canal for Subdivision 7365, Oakley Area. On November 19, 1991, this Board approved a Road Improvement Agreement with Kaufman and Broad of Northern California, Incorporated, for the construction of a trail along the Contra Costa Canal and adjacent to the subdivision. The Public Works Director now informs this Board that the trail improvements are no longer required. IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that the Road Improvement Agreement with Kaufman and Broad of Northern California, Incorporated, as approved by the Board on November 19, 1991, is TERMINATED and the improvement security bond issued by American Casualty Company of Reading, Pennsylvania (Bond No. 400815617) with Kaufman and Broad of Northern California, Incorporated as principle is EXONERATED. It is further ordered that the Public Works Director is AUTHORIZED to refund the $1,000 cash deposit (Auditor's Deposit Permit No. 198838, dated November 19, 1991) plus interest if appropriate, to Kaufman and Broad of Northern California, Incorporated, pursuant to the Road Improvement Agreement and Ordinance Code Section 94-4.406 i hereby certify that this is a true and correct copy til an action taken and entsied on the minutes of tt.e Hoard of super xi�ATolthldj� shown.
