SUBJECT: LEASE - 50 SILVER AVENUE, RICHMOND, CALIFORNIA
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. RECOMMENDED ACTION
APPROVE a Lease, commencing February 1, 1993, with The Housing
Authority of the County of Contra Costa for the premises at
50 Silver Avenue, Richmond, California, for occupancy by the
Community Services Department, under the terms and conditions
more particularly set forth in said Lease, and AUTHORIZE the
Director of General Services to EXECUTE said Lease on behalf
of the County.
DETERMINE that the above project is a Class 3 Categorical
Exemption under the California Environmental Quality Act.
DIRECT the Community Development Department to FILE a Notice
of Exemption with the County Clerk.
II. FINANCIAL IMPACT
Payments required are to come from the budget of the
Community Services Department.
III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS/BACKGROUND
The Housing Authority of the County of Contra Costa remodeled
an existing structure to provide office and classroom space
for a day care center as requested by the. Community Services
Department.

SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. RECOMMENDED ACTION
APPROVE a Lease, commencing February 1, 1993, with The Housing
Authority of the County of Contra Costa for the premises at
135 West Grove Street, Richmond, California, for occupancy by
the Community Services Department, under the terms and
conditions more particularly set forth in said Lease, and
AUTHORIZE the Director of General Services to EXECUTE said
Lease on behalf of the County.
DETERMINE that this activity is not subject to the California
Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15061(b)
(3) of Chapter 3 of the State CEQA Guidelines.
DIRECT the Community Development Department to FILE a Notice
of Exemption with the County Clerk.
