RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve and authorize the Chair, Board of Supervisors, to execute on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #22-353-3 with Desarrollo Familiar effective March 1, 1993, to amend Standard Contract #22-353-2 (effective July 1, 1992 through June 30, 1993) , to increase the payment limit by $2 , 500, from $52 ,250 to a new Contract payment limit of $54,750. This Contractor provides HIV/AIDS education and prevention services. II. FINANCIAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100% by the State Department of Health Services. No County match is required. III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS/BACKGROUND: On June 16, 1992 , the Board approved Standard Contract #22-353-2 with the Desarrollo Familiar to provide HIV/AIDS education and prevention services mainly directed to the Latino population of Contra Costa County. Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #22-353-3 will allow the Contractor to provide additional services through June 30, 1993 . County and Contractor agree, therefore, to amend said Contract as specified below, while all other parts of said Contract remain unchanged and in full force and effect. 1. Payment Limit Increase. The Contract Payment Limit amount set forth in Paragraph 4 . (Payment Limit) , is hereby increased by $12, 500 from $52,250 to a new total Payment Limit of $54,750 . 2: Modification of Payment Provisions. Payment Provisions Paragraph 1. (Payment Amounts) , subparagraph d. , is hereby modified to read as follows: " [%] d.
