Ladies & Gentlemen of the Board:
My . letter today signals my intention to resign my appointed
position to the North Richmond Advisory Council , effective today.
In view of the unfavorable economic conditions that effect the
business that I manage, I find that I can no longer justify the
time away from my business which the MAC requires.
Today, the business climate in the state of California is
distinctly inhospitable, while the role of the Federal government
seems to encompass giving away our tax resources, our jobs and our
floral industry, of which I am a part .
I am sorry to say that I can no longer afford the luxury of serving
my community with 2 meetings per month of 2 hours each. I must
devote all my time and energy to staying in business.
Sincerely,
Lina Aebi Hale
