HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 03301993 - MR.4 MR.4 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Date: March 30, 199 MATTER OF RECORD The Board was in agreement that the County Administrator report on April 6, 1993 , on the status of responses to constituents. It was also requested that the Fire Districts develop fact sheets on the fire benefit assessment and the emergency one-year plan; that staff review the content of the benefit assessment notification form mailed to constituents in terms of providing information on the protest procedure, etc. ; that staff develop a time schedule for resolving the issues associated with the fire service, particularly the assessment unit assignment issue; that the fire chiefs hold public forums in their districts on the issues; and that staff prepare a tally on the Fire District consolidations since the formation of the Riverview Fire Protection District, what is being considered now, and savings anticipated by not filling the positions of the recently retired fire chiefs and other management personnel.
