SPECIFIC REOUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATION(S) &BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
1. Recommended Action:
A. ACCEPT Grant Deed dated March 3, 1993, from George Wimpey, Inc.
B. DIRECT the Real Property Division to have above-referenced Grant Deed recorded in the
Office of the County Recorder.
II. Financiallmpact:
None.
III. Reasons for Recommendations and Background:
Morrison Homes, a subsidiary of George Wimpey, Inc., is waiving compensation and donating
to the County property rights required for the Oakley Road reconstruction. The existing roadway
has a substandard width and a number of rises which create inadequate sight distances. The
proposed project will correct these unsafe conditions.
IV. Consequences of Negative Action:
The project will not have sufficient land rights to allow construction in accordance with approved
plans and specifications.

Real property in the northeast quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 27, Township 2 North,
Range 2 East, Mount Diablo Meridian, Contra Costa County, California, being a portion of that
parcel of land described as PARCEL FIVE in the deed to GEORGE WIMPEY, INC., recorded April
25, 1991 in Volume 16546 of Official Records at page 664, described as follows:
PARCEL SIX: (Permanent R/W)
Commencing at the intersection of the north line of Section 27 and the northerly prolongation of the
east line of said PARCEL FIVE (16546 O.R. 664); thence southerly along said prolongation, south
00055'20" west 25.00 feet to the south right-of-way line of Oakley Road, the Point of Beginning;
thence from the Point of Beginning, along said south line, north 8917'35" west 203.00 feet to the
west line of said PARCEL FIVE; thence along said west line, south 0°55'29" west 9.00 feet to a point
hereinafter referred to as Point R; thence leaving said west line, south 89°34'31" east 203.01 feet to
