SUBJECT: DELTA EXPRESSWAY - OAKLEY AREA

SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATION(S) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. Recommended Action:
A. APPROVE Relocation Assistance Claim dated April 30, 1992, made by Jim and Kathy
Bridges for Moving Expenses: $1,250.00.
B. AUTHORIZE the County Principal Real Property Agent to sign the Relocation Assistance
Claim on behalf of the County.
C. AUTHORIZE the County Auditor-Controller to issue a check payable to Jim & Kathy
Bridges, Rt 1, Box 64B, Oakley, CA., 94561, in the amount of$1,250.00, to be forwarded
to the Real Property Division for delivery.
II. Financial Impact:
Payment of$1,250.00 from Oakley/East County Area of Benefit funds which are allocated for the
Delta Expressway.
III. Reasons for Recommendations and Background:
Payment is for relocation assistance obligations required by Government Code Section 7260,
et seq. resulting from the County's purchase of the land and improvements in which claimants
reside, located at 4597 Neroly Road, Oakley, for future right of way for the Delta Expressway.
IV. Consequences of Negative Action:
County would be in noncompliance with State law.
