as "Abi Keddie Day in )
Contra Costa County" ) RESOLUTION NO. 92/441
WHEREAS, Abi Moremen was born 'on June 24, 1892 in Spring-
field, Missouri; and
WHEREAS, Alex Keddie started dating Abi and in 1920 later
joining in holy matrimony in Los Angeles, California; and
WHEREAS, the newly married couple moved to San Francisco
raising their daughter, Norma; and
WHEREAS, Abi is the proud grandparent of three grandchildren
and ten great-grandchildren;
WHEREAS, Abi now lives in beautiful Rossmoor, California
where she continues to be active with her family; and
WHEREAS, When Abi isn' t busy with her family, she is very
much involved in community affairs; ,and
WHEREAS, on Sunday, June 28, 1992, family and friends will
gather in Orinda to celebrate Abi ' s 100th Birthday;
NOW, EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors
of Contra Costa County takes great PRIDE and PLEASURE in CONGRAT-
ULATING Abi Keddie on her special day with her family and friends
in WISHING Abi much happiness and good health.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by unanimous vote of the Board members
present on this 23rd day of June.
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct
copy of a resolution entered on the minutes of said Board of
Supervisors on the date aforesaid.
