Co. §§ 57082, 57075.) (LAFC 92-10 ) ) The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES that: 1 . This Resolution approves a legally uninhabited reorganization pursuant to the Cortese-Knox Act, Government Code sections 56000 et seq. 2 . This reorganization consists of 1 ) the detachment of certain territory, as described in Exhibit A hereto, from the below-listed districts and 2 ) the annexation of certain other territory, as also described in Exhibit A hereto, to the below- listed Districts : Moraga Fire Protection District County Service Area P-6 Contra Costa Resource Conservation District Contra Costa Mosquito Abatement District I County Service Area EMS-1, Zone B Contra Costa County Flood Control District 3 . The exterior boundaries of the above-noted changes of organization are as specified in Exhibit A hereto. 4 . This reorganization is subject to the following conditions, as imposed by the Local Agency Formation Commission: 1 ) territory to be annexed to Contra Costa County shall be as shown on proposal map no. 92-10, 2 ) affected territory shall be subject to ordinances, rules, regulations, bonded indebtedness and contractual obligations same as annexing agencies, 3 ) the proposal is to become effective on June 1 , 1992, and 4 ) affected territory shall remain within the East Bay Regional Park District and the East Bay Municipal Utility District. 5 . The affected territory will be taxed for any existing bonded indebtedness of the annexing districts . The regular county assessment roll will be used for the collection of taxes and assessments in the territory annexed. 6 . The purpose of the Reorganization is to change the boundaries of the affected districts to accord with the Villanova Drive County Boundary change recently approved by the Boards of Supervisors of Contra Costa and Alameda Counties, consisting of the concurrent detachment of certain territory from Alameda County and annexation of that territory to Contra Costa County and the current detachment of certain territory from Contra Costa County and annexation of that territory to Alameda County. With the contemporaneous completion of annexations and detachments effective June 1 , 1992 in both counties, the affected territory will switch counties and simultaneously be detached from districts in the prior county and be annexed to districts in the RESOLUTION NO. 92/309 -1- new county. Accordingly, the affected parcels will suffer no interruption of services provided by the districts in the new county. 7 . This Board hereby finds that, pursuant to Government Code section 57075, insufficient protests were filed to require termination of proceedings and, therefore, ORDERS this reorganization subject to the terms and conditions specified' herein. 8 . The Clerk of this Board shall forthwith transmit a certified copy of this Resolution, along with a remittance to cover any applicable fees as proved by section 54902.5 of the Government Code, to the Executive Officer of the Local Agency Formation Commission, with a request that the Executive Officer complete the reorganization by filing a Certificate of Completion and Statement of Boundary Change prior to June 1, 1992.
