HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 05191992 - H.B H.B" THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY Adopted this Resolution on May 19, 1992, by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Powers, Fanden, Schroder, Torlakson and McPeak NOES: None ABSENT: None RESOLUTION NO. 92/ 327 (Government Code § 25350) SUBJECT: Consummate Purchase and Accept Grant Deed 1301-1313 Cutting Blvd Richmond Area W.O. 5171 The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County, RESOLVES THAT: This Board on March 3, 1992, passed Resolution of Intention No. 92/123 and Notice fixing April 7, 1992, at 9:00 A.M. in its Chambers, County Administration Building, 651 Pine Street, Martinez, California, as the time and place where it would meet to consummate the purchase of the real property described therein from Richard H. & Barbara B. Shoop, said property being required for Health Services purposes. Said Resolution was duly published in the West County Times in compliance with Govern- ment Code Section 6063. At the April 7, 1992 meeting the Board continued this item to May 5, 1992 and at the May 5, 1992 meeting the Board continued this item to May 19, 1992. The Board hereby consummates said purchase and approves the Purchase Agreement dated February 13, 1992, between Richard H. Shoop and Barbara B. Shoop, and the County for a methadone clinic site in Richmond, California, and authorizes the Public Works Director to sign the Purchase Agreement on behalf of the County, and APPROVES the required appropriation adjustment in the amount of $395,000.00 within Enterprise Fund I to finance said acquisition. The County Auditor-Controller is hereby DIRECTED to issue a check in favor of Fidelity National Title Insurance Company, Escrow No. 351989, in the amount of $395,000.00 for said property for payment to Grantors. The Deed, dated February 13, 1992, from Richard H. & Barbara B. Shoop, is hereby ACCEPTED and the Real Property Division is ORDERED to have it recorded, together with a certified copy of this resolution. This Board hereby FINDS that there is no substantial evidence that the proposed project will have a significant effect on the environment, and that it has reviewed and considered the Initial Study and Negative Declaration together with. any comments received during the public review process and this Board approves its adequacy for California Environmental Quality Act purposes. This Board DIRECTS the Director of Community Development to file a Notice of Determination and a Certificate of Fee Exemption: De Minimis Impact Finding with the County Clerk, and DIRECTS the Public Works Director to arrange for payment of the $25.00 handling fee to the County Clerk.
