HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 05191992 - H.5 H.5 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on_May 19, 1992 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Powers, Fanden, Schroder, McPeak NOES: None ABSENT: Supervisor Torlakson ABSTAIN: None SUBJECT: Hearing on the Appeal of G. Frank Rogers Regarding the Application of Humann Company, Inc., Walnut Creek area. The Chair convened the hearing on the appeal of G. Frank Rogers (appellant) from the decision of the Contra Costa County Planning Commission on the application of the Humann Company, Inc., (applicant) and Wayne Gross, (owner), requesting approval of a vesting tentative map to subdivide 0.47 acres of land into two parcels with a variance to Parcel B to have an average lot width of 60 feet (80 feet. required) (MS 31-91), Walnut Creek area. The Chair declared the hearing open and G. Frank Rogers spoke on his concerns relative to the granting of a variance with respect to lot size and of the findings that need to be made. Speaking in support of the project were Wayne Gross, the owner of the project property, 45 Leonard Court, Danville; and Ann McKeon, a resident in the area, 40 Boulevard Court, Walnut Creek. All persons desiring to speak having been heard, Supervisor Schroder commented on the topography of the area and the traffic on Boulevard Way. He stated that because of the uniqueness of this particular area on Boulevard Way, he would like to visit the property and confer with the appellant and property owner. THEREFORE, IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that the hearing is CLOSED and decision on the appeal is DEFERRED to June 2, 1992. 1 HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THIS IS A TRUE A TRUE AND CORRECT COPY OF AN ACTION TAKEN AND ENTERED ON THE MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS ON THE DATE SHOWN.
