HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 05191992 - 1.2 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on May 19, 1992, by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Powers, Fanden, Schroder, Torlakson and McPeak NOES: None ABSENT: None TRAFFIC RESOLUTION NO. 3499 ABSTAIN: None Supervisorial District SUBJECT: Pursuant to Section 21101(b) of the California Vehicle Code, Declaring a Stop Intersection at Highland Boulevard (Road #1655 BE) and Cowper Avenue (Road #1655 BC), Kensington. The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors RESOLVES that: On the basis of a traffic and engineering survey and recommendations thereon by the County Public Works Department's Traffic Engineering Division, and pursuant to County Ordinance Code Sections 46-2.002 - 46-2.012, the following traffic regulation is established (and other action taken as indicated): Pursuant to Section 21101(b) of the California Vehicle Code the intersection of Highland Boulevard (Road No. 1655 BE) and Cowper Avenue (Road No. 1655 BC), Kensington is hereby declared to be a stop intersection and all vehicles traveling on Highland Boulevard, shall stop before entering said intersection. (Traffic Resolution #989 pertaining to an existing yield sign regulating northbound traffic on Highland Boulevard at Cowper Avenue is hereby rescinded).
