HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 04071992 - D.1 D. 1 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on April 7, 1992, by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Powers, Fanden, Torlakson and McPeak NOES: None ABSENT: Supervisor Schroder ABSTAIN: None ----------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------- SUBJECT: Decision on Reconsideration of Denial on Subdivision 7451, JEDCO Engineers,El Sobrante Area On March 24, 1992, the Board of Supervisors continued for decision the matter of the reconsideration of the Board of Supervisors' decision for denial without prejudice of the application by JEDCO Engineers (applicant) and M. Awad Al-Kundari (owner) requesting approval of a tentative map (Subdivision 7451) to subdivide 4. 58 acres into 14 lots, and granting the appeal of Mrs. Jan Eakle, et al, from the Contra Costa County Planning Commission approval for 12 lots in the E1 Sobrante area. Supervisor Powers commented on meetings he has had with the parties and on additional conditions he had requested staff to prepare to address the issues raised including sight distance, the number of lots, and the lot widths based on a 13 lot subdivision and he moved that the Board declare its intent to grant the reconsideration for 13 lots, add the conditions requested of staff and direct staff to have findings prepared and returned for Board consideration. Supervisor Torlakson seconded the motion. IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that intent is DECLARED to approve Subdivision 7451 for 13 lots with amended conditions; and Community Development staff is DIRECTED to prepare appropriate findings and documentation for Board consideration.
