HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 04211992 - H.9 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on April 21 , 1992 , by the following vote: AYES : Supervisors Powers, Fanden, Schroder, Torlakson and McPeak NOES : None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None ----------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------- SUBJECT : Hearing On Appeal of DeBolt Civil Engineering on MS 157- 90, Warren Turnage and Judy Mashore, Clayton Area . This is the time heretofore noticed by the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors for hearing on the appeal of DeBolt Civil Engineering (appellant) from the decision of the Contra Costa County Planning commission on the application of Warren Turnage (applicant) and Judy Mashore (owner) requesting approval of a vesting tentative map to divide 32 acres of land into four lots with variances to parcel width on Parcels C and D (Parcel C to have 224 feet, and Parcel D to have 187 feet, 250 feet required) (MS 15790) in the Clayton area . Mary Fleming, Community Development Department, presented the staff report on the proposed minor subdivision, commenting on the recommendation of the Planning Commission for approval with no variances and the staff recommendation for denial of the appeal and that the Board direct the applicant to submit the revised tentative map providing lot configuration with no variances . The public hearing was opened and the following person appeared and presented testimony: Gene DeBolt, DeBolt Civil Engineering, 811 San Ramon Valley Boulevard, Danville, representing the applicant, presented a brief history of the proposed minor subdivision, and he commented on an additional proposed condition that an easement be reserved between parcels A and D that would provide for if necessary either party to be able to go on to the adjoining property to do slide repair and he requested Board approval of the alternate map with no variances and accommodates the conditions of the Planning Commission and respects the needs of the individual property owners . No one else appearing, the public hearing was closed. On recommendation of Supervisor Torlakson, IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that the decision on the above matter is DEFERRED to April 28 , 1992 , in the Board chambers .
