Designate November 12, 1992 for the Award of Excellence Banquet. FINANCIAL IMPACT: Private donations will be solicited. Additional monies are being included in the proposed 1992-93 County Budget. BACKGROUND: Since the Board of Supervisors established the program in 1988, 1000 County employees have been recognized. The program, designed to take place annually, is in its fifth year with nominations scheduled to begin in June. Department coordinators will distribute nomination forms and posters in all work sites. Nominations will . be accepted from employees in one or more of the following seven award categories : Employee of the Year Management Leadership Most Creative Employee Outstanding Public Service Employee Most Dedicated Employee Most Productive Employee Most Enthusiastic Employee Award recipients will receive cash prize plaques, apel pins and dinners-for-two.
