SUBJECT: Resolution and Notice of Intention
to Convey Real Property to the
East Bay Regional Park District

The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
This Board intends to convey to the East Bay Regional Park District, County owned
real property described in the attached Notice of Intention to Convey Real Property.
This property is not required for County use.
This Board hereby sets Tuesday, May 12, 1992, at 11:00 a.m. in the Board's
Chambers in the County Administration Building, 651 Pine Street, Martinez, California, as
the time and place it will meet to consummate this conveyance by a four-fifths vote.
The Clerk of this Board is hereby DIRECTED to have the attached Notice
published one time, at least one week preceding the date set for hearing in the Contra
Costa Times, a newspaper of general circulation (pursuant to Government Code Section
6061).
The Board hereby FINDS that the project will not have a significant effect on the
environment, and DETERMINES that the project is exempt from the requirements of the
California Environmental Quality Act as a Class 12 Categorical Exemption under County
Guidelines and Section 15312 of the State CEQA Guidelines, and DIRECTS the Director
of Community Development to file a Notice of Exemption with the County Clerk and
DIRECTS the Public Works Director to arrange for payment of the $25.00 handling fee
to the County Clerk for filing of the Notice of Exemption. This activity has been found to
conform to the General Plan.of the City of Martinez.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONVEY REAL PROPERTY
(Gov. Code § 25365)
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County, on April 21,
1992, declared its intention to convey to the East Bay Regional Park District the following
described real property:
All that.real property situated in the State of California, County of Contra Costa, City of
Martinez described as follows:
Blocks 202 and 203 as shown on the "Map of the Original and Additional Surveys of the
Town of Martinez," filed March 30, 1895 in Map Book "D" at page 83, records of Contra
Costa County, California. Together with the Grantor's interest in the underlying fee title
to the unnamed street adjacent to Lots 4 and 5 of Block 2, as shown on said map.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM: that portion of Block 202 lying southeasterly of the
northeasterly prolongation of the northwestern line of Lot 4 of Block 2 (D M 83).
Also EXCEPTING THEREFROM: that portion of Block 202 conveyed to the Northern Rail
Way Company recorded May 7, 1877 in Book 32 of Deeds at page 472, records of said
County.
Also EXCEPTING THEREFROM: the Southern Pacific Railroad Company's interest in a
portion of said Block 203 which has ripened through use of the property for railroad
purposes or was acquired by unrecorded agreement with.previous owners.
Including all rights, title and interest in adjoining public and private ways.
Together with and including all improvements located thereon.
Notice is further given that it is proposed to donate said property to the East Bay
Regional Park District for inclusion into the Carquinez Regional Shoreline Park.
The Board will meet on Tuesday, May 12, 1992, at 11:00 a.m. in the Board's Chambers,
County Administration Building, 651 Pine Street, Martinez, California, to make such
conveyance by at least a four-fifths vote.
