SUBJECT: Approve the issuance of a purchase order in the amount of $14,940 to East Bay
Municipal Utility District, for Flood Control District's share of utility relocations for Green
Valley Creek, Danville area, Flood Control Zone 3B.

SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATIONS) &BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. Recommended Action:
APPROVE the issuance of a purchase order in the amount of $14,940 to East Bay Municipal
Utility District, for the District's participation in the relocation of a 12" water pipeline in Diablo
Road at the first crossing of Green Valley Creek in the Danville area.
IL Financial Impact:
The total relocation cost of $14,940 will be paid from Flood Control Zone 3B.
III. Reasons for Recommendations and Background:
The Town of Danville will be lowering a 12" East Bay Municipal Utility District waterline in
conjunction with the Town's widening of Diablo Road. This section of Green Valley Creek will
be modified by a future project funded by the Corps of Engineers, State and local funds. The
relocation has been modified to accommodate the Flood Control District's future channel
modifications. The required relocation includes one 12" waterline owned by East Bay Municipal
Utility District, crossing Green Valley Creek.
