SUBJECT: Authorize Execution of Quitclaim Deed to the
Contra Costa County Fire Protection District
W/O 5515 - Title Clearance
Central County Area
The Board of Supervisors RESOLVES THAT:
Contra Costa County has acquired for the benefit of the Contra Costa County Fire
Protection District, and with District funds, the properties described in Exhibit"A" attached
hereto and made apart hereof. Most of these sites have been improved with fire stations
or are being held for future District use. The Fire District has requested a quitclaim deed
from the County to correctly vest these properties with the District.
This Board hereby DETERMINES that said properties are not required for County
Use, and, pursuant to Government Code Section 25365, this Board hereby APPROVES
and AUTHORIZES the conveyance of said properties to the Contra Costa County Fire
Protection District. The Board Chair is hereby AUTHORIZED to execute a quitclaim deed
to the District on behalf of the County.
The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause the quitclaim deed to be
delivered to the Grantee for acceptance and recording.
I hereby certify that this Is a true and correct copy of
an action taken and entered on the minutes of the
Board of supervisors on the date shown.
