Gilbert, Director of General Services osta ounty DATE: March 10, 1992 SUBJECT: LEASE OPTION FOR HEALTH SERVICES DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC REOUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION I. RECOMMENDATION Board of Supervisors to EXERCISE, on behalf of the County, its option to lease the space at 919 Mellus Street, Martinez, contained in the Lease, dated August 6, 1991 with the Jordan Family Trust for the premises at 904 Mellus Street, Martinez, for occupancy by the Health Services Department, under the terms and conditions more particularly set forth in said Lease Option. DETERMINE that the above project is a Class 3 Categorical Exemption under the California Environmental Quality Act. DIRECT the Community Development Department to FILE a Notice of Exemption with the County Clerk. II. FINANCIAL IMPACT Payments required are to come from the budget of the Health Services Department. III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION/BACKGROUND Provide for use of additional residential space as requested by the Health Services Department.
