The Flood Control District and the Contractor have agreed on the quantities and costs for the
additional work which amounts to$58,602.00. A portion of the removed material was stockpiled
road debris. Therefore an equitable portion of the site preparation cost will be borne by the
Public Works Maintenance program.
IV. Consequences of Negative Action:
District staff approved additional work that was reasonably necessary to fulfill the approved
contracts. Payment is required to keep the County's good faith commitment to pay the
contractor.
