SUBJECT: Conveyance of Easement to PG&E
Highway :4 Widening at Carol Lane
Project No. 4660-6X4014
Oakley Area
The Board of Supervisors RESOLVES THAT:
Contra Costa County acquired certain real property by deed recorded December
26, 1990, in Book 16317 at page 352, in Oakley, for road widening purposes. The Pacific
Gas and Electric Company has requested an easement over a portion of said property,
described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, for utility purposes. This Board FINDS that the
conveyance of such easement is in the public interest and will not substantially conflict
or interfere with the County's use of the property.
This Board hereby APPROVES and AUTHORIZES the conveyance of an
easement to Pacific Gas and Electric. Company, over the property described in Exhibit
"A" attached hereto, pursuant to Government Code Section 25526.6 and the Board Chair
is hereby AUTHORIZED to execute a Grant of Easement on behalf of the County.
The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause said Grant of Easement to be
delivered to the grantee.
This activity is not subject to the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to
Section 15061(b) (3) of Chapter 3 of the CEQA Guidelines as it can be seen with certainty
that there is no possibility that the activity may have a significant effect on the environ-
ment.

Exhibit "A"
A strip of land of the uniform width of 20.0 feet extending from the northerly boundary line
of Lot 2, as said Lot is shown upon map of Diane Park filed for record in Book 37 of
Maps at page 36, Contra Costa County Records, southerly to the southerly boundary line
of said Lot 2, and lying 10.00 feet on each side of the line which begins at a point in the
northerly boundary line of said Lot 2 and runs thence S.00 34' 57" W. approximately 101
feet to a point in said southerly boundary line; said point of beginning bears N.88 47' 03"
W. 80 feet distant from the northeast corner of said Lot 2, said strip of land being a
portion of said Lot 2.
