BY , DEPUTY
A,
Contra Costa County is fortunate to be served by five transit
agencies: Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District (AC Transit) , Bay
Area Rapid Transit District (BART) , Central Contra Costa
Transportation Authority (County Connection) , Eastern Contra Costa
Transit Authority (Tri-Delta Transit) , and Western Contra Costa
Transit Authority (WestCAT) . In recent years, these agencies have
been expanding and improving service throughout the County and
providing more interconnections between their service areas.
Transit Appreciation Day is an opportune time for the County to
extend recognition to these agencies and their employees and to
express appreciation for their efforts.
