Gilbert, Director of General Service C v , DATE: May 7, 1991 -4° Cou CpUN SUBJECT: RENTAL AGREEMENT TERMINATION - 916 and 924 FITZUREN ROAD, ANTIOCH LEASE TERMINATION - 1352 FITZUREN ROAD, ANTIOCH SPECIFIC REOUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION I. RECOMMENDED ACTION: AUTHORIZE the Lease Manager and County Counsel to take necessary action to: (A) Terminate the Rental Agreement with Vince Granberg for the premises located at 916 and 924 Fitzuren Road, Antioch, California. (B) Terminate the Lease Agreement with Dan Scheile and G. M. Scheile for the premises located at 1352 Fitzuren Road, Antioch, California. II. Financial Impact: Eliminates monthly rent payments of $485. from Vince Granberg, and $250 . from Dan Scheile and G. M. Scheile to Fund 2579 of Flood Control Drainage Area 55 . III. Reasons for Recommendations/Background: Both agreements must be terminated to allow for construction of the interim Antioch Creek Flood Control Project, which requires all County Land on Fitzuren Road. In addition, Vince Granberg has violated his rental agreement by unauthorized assignment or sublease of' the premises and by committing waste on the premises .
