Ms. Paula Davis, nominated by Opportunity West, West County Coordinator for the Contra Costa Child Care Council. 2 . Ms. Bette Boatmun, Executive Director, YWCA of Contra Costa County, as nominated by the YWCA. Alternate: Mr. Devon R. (Skip) Winslow, Director of Special Projects, YWCA of Contra Costa County, as nominated by the YWCA. 3 . Ms. Jan Cole, Program Director, Child Care Programs, YMCA West Contra Costa, alternate to Mr. Don Lau, as nominated by the YMCA West Contra Costa County. 4. Correct the spelling of the surname of Ms. Erin Miley, incorrectly spelled as "Miely" in the Board Order of May 14, 1991. BACKGROUND: On May 14', 1991 the Board of Supervisors made a number of appointments to the Child Care Task Force. We anticipate that additional appointments will have to be made on June 4 and June 11 before the Task Force is fully constituted. The Task. Force held its initial meeting on the evening of May 20, 1991. Some 36 individuals were present. Most of this f irst meeting was occupied with organizational details. Three subcommittees were established to address various elements of the challenge of setting program priorities for new federal child care dollars in Contra Costa County. The Task Force has tentatively planned to meet every other Monday evening, with the three subcommittees meeting in between Task Force meetings to draft the principal business of the Task Force.
