the other for provision of hazardous materials training for the . O
City of Richmond Fire Department, Supervisor Powers commented on
the amount of money that has already been expended by the County v
on the purchase of a brand new truck, training, equipment, and a
computer to keep track of hazardous materials generators. He
noted that the new truck has not been put into service because it
lacked equipment and trained staff to operate it. He called
attention to the fact that the City of Richmond has not made any
financial contributions to this project although the City is the
primary benefactor- .
Supervisor Powers commented on the delays that have prevented
the equipment .from being put on line. He advised the Board of a
letter he has sent to the Mayor, City of Richmond, and that he
would provide the Board with copies of that communication. He
then recommended the adoption of referenced contracts.
