Request the Community Development Director to convene the Agricultural Task Force as soon as possible. 4. Remove as a referral to our Committee the formation of an Agricultural Task Force, leaving on referral to our Committee the proposed use of the $2 solid waste tipping fee, which is to be used to acquire additional open space and for supporting the agriculture industry in this County. BACKGROUND: On February 5, 1991, the Board of Supervisors agreed to form an Agricultural Task Force, adopted a charge to the Task Force and fixed the membership of the Task Force and their reporting frequency to the Board of Supervisors. Our Committee was asked to review the proposed membership and recommend appointments to the Board of Supervisors. Approval of the above recommendations will complete our committee' s work on this referral. -4-
